Misericordia
A recently completed novel with the working title "Misericordia", currently looking for a publisher.
It's an experimental prose following in the steps of masters such as Clarice Lispector, Bachmann and Wolf. A story of a woman whose starting point in the novel is a family drama yet who manages her life's tribulations and painful tests with wisdom and fluidity becoming an active art expert, a woman of her will and desires, who pushes the boundaries of the pre-set rules to realise her dreams and calling. The story develops in various geographical locations of Europe, including the Compostela route of Spain. The narration is a subtle meditation on the modern arts, life, philosophy of being alive and meaningful, importance of friendships and of the meaningful human relationships. The poetic and musical side of it interplays with the narratives of Dante and Rilke's profound reflections on creativity and belongings. It prompts a reader to think and dream about dimensions often overlooked in the hustle of daily life creating the sunny tribute to the human courage and tenacity and the life's best lessons often hidden in the power of imagination and desires. It sharpens the edges with the intellectual outing into the world of ideas and digressions.
